This process improves surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue life, while maintaining the core of the steel&#8217;s ductility. <\/p>\n<p>Installation requires a hydraulic press.<\/p>\n<p>Available for 5-speed 18-spline large bearing, 5-speed 25-spline, and 6-speed transfer cases.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE (for &#8217;91-92, 18-spline only): If the transfer case has a bolt in the middle of the cover near the &#8220;e&#8221; in &#8220;Getrag&#8221;, then you need a &#8220;large bearing&#8221; sleeve.
