Getrag Transfer Case Sleeve Hardened Nitrided

Description

This is a replacement input sleeve for the Getrag transfer case.

Nitriding is a heat treatment process where nitrogen is diffused into the surface of steel, creating a hard, wear-resistant case. This process improves surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue life, while maintaining the core of the steel’s ductility.

Installation requires a hydraulic press.

Available for 5-speed 18-spline large bearing, 5-speed 25-spline, and 6-speed transfer cases.

NOTE (for ’91-92, 18-spline only): If the transfer case has a bolt in the middle of the cover near the “e” in “Getrag”, then you need a “large bearing” sleeve. If no bolt then “small bearing”.
